Located in the heart of Long Island City, just steps from the iconic Pepsi-Cola sign, Fado was founded in 2020 during one of the most uncertain times—right in the midst of COVID. What began as a leap of faith quickly became a meaningful way to bring connection, style, and a sense of community to the neighborhood.

With a background in wholesale, we had a vision to create a thoughtfully curated boutique that offered more than just clothing. Today, Fado has grown into a local staple where customers can discover elevated everyday pieces, unique gifts, candles, and more—all hand-selected with intention.
